this song is about how doing drugs and being an annoying asshole to your friends all the time is actually really cool.

this is one of our last fragments of a lost world - a world before viruses were invented, before concerts and sharing cigarettes outside them were banned forever, before that stupid fucking tiger show my mom keeps telling me to watch. back when our biggest problems were having too many shows and not enough songs, when it didn't feel wrong to put out new music all the time, and when i said stupid shit like "wow at least things can't get any worse," because they for sure did. But hey! It makes me remember what it feels like to just enjoy things for a minute (or exactly 2 minutes and 39 seconds) without having to think about the future, because that shit can come later. and maybe that's worth something. Right?

we've played this live a billion times but our amazing friend bri (saltlick, bexley moms, you were afraid) captured it on tape for the first time at capital university's studio F at like 12:30 AM. dont ever take the studio F graveyard shift trust me. its not worth it. we all wanted to die but at least we made this.
